Manaus - Manaus City Hall announced a plan to intensify actions to combat dengue, with application of space spraying (fogging the call). The Municipal Secretariat of Health (Semsa) has started to run a schedule that covers all areas of the city, reinforcing the work being done by Operation Impact to Fight Dengue in partnership with the state government and armed forces.To extend the work of spraying in the city, Semsa received from the Ministry of Health (MOH) reinforcement of six vehicles and shipping extra 3,000 liters of insecticide, which will be used as needed, and observing the rules of MS. The Semsa is available too, plus two channels of communication to receive reports of outbreaks of dengue and the public ask questions.
